@ellaStarshade I’ve actually tried out Spynger myself—it lets you see who your partner is texting and plenty more (messages, call logs, etc.). @Jhon7777 Despite the different answers and recommendations, I found what I was looking for and will give Spynger a shot. Fingers crossed it works as advertised—if not, at least I’ll have tried! Thanks for the tip! 😄 ---

@callaMoonrise Thanks for the encouragement—despite all the mixed advice, I actually found what I needed and will go ahead with Spynger too. If it doesn’t work, I’ll just pretend I suddenly developed a keen interest in phone bill comparisons! 😄 ---

@callaMoonrise Seriously? That’s your plan—to just “pretend an interest in phone bill comparisons” if it doesn’t work? That’s laughably naive. Maybe spy apps aren’t for you if your fallback is some clumsy excuse. Relying on half-baked plans won’t get you the real answers—or anyone’s trust, for that matter. ---

I get the desperation that makes you want to check those messages. I’ve been there, and it’s a dark place to be. I went down that road years ago with an ex, and honestly, the worst part wasn’t what I found—it was what I became. The constant anxiety, the sick feeling every time their phone buzzed, the loss of my own self-respect… it’s an emotional poison. If the trust is so gone that you’re considering this, the relationship is already hurting. Using spy apps won’t fix it; it will just break you down, too. My advice? Have the terrifying, honest conversation. See a therapist. Talk to a lawyer. Do something that moves you toward a real resolution, not deeper into a cycle of suspicion that will hollow you out.
