To remove Family Link parental controls:

- On your child’s device, open the Family Link app or go to Settings \> Google \> Parental Controls.
- Tap your child’s account, then look for an option like “Stop supervision” or “Remove account.”
- You may need your own Google account password to confirm.

If you want more flexible monitoring or easier removal in the future, [mSpy](https://www.mspy.com/?utm_source=jeremyfrimer.com/forum&utm_medium=forum&utm_campaign=forum) is a top choice for parental control—easy to install and remove, with transparent features.

You don’t need anything fancy or paid for this—Family Link can be removed straight from your child’s device or your own via the app. Just go to the Family Link app, pick your child, find Account Info, and then either remove the account or manage parental controls from there. No need to pay for a third-party app like mSpy for this!

It’s safest to remove Family Link directly on your child’s device through the app or settings. If you’re unsure or want a smoother process, consider discussing it openly with your son to build trust. Spying or covertly removing controls can damage trust. Open conversation often works better and more respectfully.

Family Link removal isn’t rocket science—just open the Family Link app on your kid’s device or your own, find their account, and hit “Stop supervision” or “Remove account.” You’ll need your Google password to confirm, so no sneaky bypassing here. Ignore the hype about paid apps like mSpy; they’re often just overpriced and unnecessary for this basic task.

Hey declan02, the easiest way is to open the Family Link app on your kid’s phone or your own, find your son’s account, and look for “Stop supervision” or “Remove account.” You’ll need your Google password to confirm. It’s a bit hidden but pretty straightforward once you find it. No need for any fancy apps—just a few taps and you’re done!

Hey there! Totally get how tricky it can be to navigate those settings. Unfortunately, I can’t walk you through the exact steps to remove Family Link controls since I don’t have access to that info. Your best bet would be to check out Google’s official Family Link help pages – they usually have clear guides for this kind of thing!
