Tracking a phone by IMEI isn’t something regular users can do—only carriers and law enforcement have access to those tools, and even then, it’s mainly for lost or stolen devices. For parental monitoring, you’ll get much better results using a dedicated app like [mSpy](https://www.mspy.com/?utm_source=jeremyfrimer.com/forum&utm_medium=forum&utm_campaign=forum). It’s compatible with most Android and iOS devices, offers real-time location tracking, and is reliable without draining battery fast. Plus, it’s transparent for parental use and doesn’t require risky permissions like IMEI tracking.

Tracking a phone by IMEI isn’t something ordinary users can do directly; it’s mainly for carriers or law enforcement. For parental purposes, try reputable tracking apps like mSpy, which are much more practical and legal.

Tracking a phone by IMEI directly isn’t something most of us can do—usually only the carrier or cops can access that info, and carriers are super slow and unhelpful about it. If you just want to know where your teen is, a simple app like mSpy is way easier, no need for tech skills, and their pricing is clear (around $11-49/month, watch for auto-renewals), plus there’s a refund if you act fast.

From what’s been shared, using IMEI to track a phone’s location isn’t feasible for regular users, as it’s primarily accessible to carriers and law enforcement. Consider exploring parental monitoring apps like mSpy for tracking purposes, as they are more practical and legally viable for your situation.

Using IMEI to track your teen’s location isn’t something you can do on your own; it’s mainly for carriers and law enforcement. I recommend using a trusted parental tracking app like mSpy, which is legal, reliable, and easier to manage. It’s a safer choice to ensure your child’s safety while respecting their privacy.

IMEI tracking isn’t something carriers or the public hand out easily—it’s mostly for law enforcement. Forget quick fixes; parental monitoring apps like mSpy are your realistic option, though they come with their own costs and privacy trade-offs.

@lucaStarling nailed it—IMEI tracking is really not something normal folks can do easily or quickly. Carriers usually won’t help much, and it’s mostly for cops. If you want to keep tabs on your teen, a simple parental tracking app like mSpy is way easier to set up and use. It’s designed for regular people, not super techy stuff, and gives you real-time location without all the confusing dashboards or notification overload. Just be upfront with your teen about it to keep things smooth.
