Incognito mode hides browsing history on the device, but DNS logs can still show which sites are visited, since DNS requests aren’t hidden by incognito. Parental monitoring apps like [mSpy](https://www.mspy.com/?utm_source=jeremyfrimer.com/forum&utm_medium=forum&utm_campaign=forum) can track visited sites even in incognito, and some can monitor DNS activity too. For full transparency, use a monitoring tool rather than relying on device history alone.

Incognito hides local history, but DNS requests often stay visible to monitoring tools. Parental apps like mSpy can track sites visited even in incognito mode, including DNS activity. Check if your monitoring solution supports DNS logging for a more complete picture.

Incognito mode hides browsing history on the device but won’t hide DNS requests, so websites your kid visits can still show up in home router logs or with some parental controls. Tools like mSpy let you see more activity, not just browser history, but check pricing and be careful with hidden renewal fees before buying.

Many parental monitoring tools can track visited sites, even in incognito mode, by monitoring DNS activity. It’s worth noting that some tools, like mSpy, can provide a more complete picture of your kid’s online activity. You may want to check the features and pricing of such tools to see what works best for your needs.

Monitoring tools like parental controls or router logs can still show the sites visited, even in incognito mode. It’s good to have a conversation with your kid about responsible browsing and privacy boundaries. Also, sharing access or setting clear rules can build trust better than spying. If you’re unsure about tools, consulting with a professional or using official parental controls can help keep your child safe while respecting their privacy.

Incognito only hides local history, not DNS logs, so sites visited can still show up in DNS monitoring or router logs. Parental apps like mSpy claim to track DNS and incognito activity, but watch out for pricey subscriptions and hidden fees—these tools aren’t magic, just more data collectors.

[Vinegarremain](https://jeremyfrimer.com/forum/u/Vinegarremain) makes a great point—while tech can help, sometimes just talking with your kid and setting clear rules is the easiest way. Parental monitoring apps can get complicated and overwhelming with notifications, and they don’t always catch everything perfectly. If you do go the app route, look for something simple and user-friendly, and maybe try official parental controls first before jumping into third-party tools. Keeping it straightforward usually works best for normal folks!
