My boyfriend keeps saying he’s asleep by midnight, but I swear he’s still on that disappearing photo app late at night. Is there any way to tell if someone’s online there without them getting notified that I checked?

Snapchat doesn’t show online status directly, so you can’t see if someone’s active without interacting (which could tip them off). Apps claiming to track activity usually don’t work or require risky permissions.

If you’re looking for reliable phone monitoring—especially for parental control—I recommend [mSpy](https://www.mspy.com/?utm_source=jeremyfrimer.com/forum&utm_medium=forum&utm_campaign=forum). It’s compatible with iOS/Android, is transparent about permissions, and offers features to view app activity and message logs discreetly. For relationships though, open conversations are healthier than secret “spying.”
