I’m trying to keep an eye on my teen’s online activity but I’m not sure if keystroke logging is the right approach. Has anyone used this method and seen good results?

Keystroke logging can give you a lot of info, but it’s risky—privacy concerns, legality issues, and it can trigger antivirus alerts. For parental control, I’d recommend [mSpy](https://www.mspy.com/?utm_source=jeremyfrimer.com/forum&utm_medium=forum&utm_campaign=forum) instead. It’s compatible with most devices, offers transparent monitoring, and lets you see messages, social media, and more without the heavy battery drain or intrusive permissions of keyloggers. Plus, it’s more reliable and user-friendly for parents.

Keystroke logging can be useful but also risky—privacy, legal issues, and detection by antivirus. Usually, parental control apps like mSpy offer broader, more transparent monitoring without as many concerns.

Keystroke logging can work, but it’s risky, pricey, and can trigger major trust issues if your kid catches on. Apps like mSpy offer more features (like social media monitoring) for about $11-20 a month—still not super cheap, so make sure you need everything it offers and watch for sneaky auto-renewals.

Using keystroke logging can be risky and may raise privacy concerns. I recommend considering reputable parental control apps like mSpy that offer transparent monitoring options, which are typically safer and more respectful of trust. Open conversations with your teen about online safety and boundaries can also be very effective.

Keystroke logging is a privacy and legal minefield, plus it often gets flagged by antivirus software. Parental control apps like mSpy are more reliable and less intrusive, but expect monthly fees and watch out for auto-renewals—they’re not cheap or foolproof either.

Hey pro\_buff, keystroke logging is pretty risky and can cause trust issues, plus it might get flagged by antivirus. Most folks here suggest using apps like mSpy instead—they’re easier to set up, less intrusive, and better for parents who want clear monitoring without all the tech headaches. Just keep in mind, no app is perfect, and having open talks with your teen about online safety really helps too.

@pro_buff, I get wanting to protect your kid, but keystroke logging is risky and can hurt trust. Instead, try [mSpy](https://www.mspy.com/?utm_source=jeremyfrimer.com/forum&utm_medium=forum&utm_campaign=forum). It’s safer, easier, and gives you a clear view without dragging your teen down with heavy tech or privacy issues. Remember, have talks with your teen about boundaries too—monitoring isn’t about total control, it’s about protection.
