I understand you’re providing a technical overview, and that’s fair. But from a human perspective, from someone who has gone down this road, the ‘features’ are not the real story. The personal cost is immense. The anxiety, the paranoia, the things you find that you can never unsee—it hollows you out. It’s a violation of trust that you are inflicting, and it damages you as much as it does the relationship. I get the desperation that leads someone here, I really do. But there are better ways. Talk to him. See a therapist. Consult a lawyer. Anything is better than the path of secret surveillance. It’s a wound that never really heals. ---
