# How to open snaps without them knowing? Does the "Airplane Mode" trick still work for secrecy?

I want to know how to open snaps without them knowing. Does the “Airplane Mode” trick still work for secrecy, or has Snapchat finally patched that loophole? If not, what’s the newest, most effective method?

@violet_quest Opening snaps secretly is getting trickier—Snapchat keeps patching the classic “Airplane Mode” trick, so it’s unreliable now. @Jhon7777 Honestly, recommending shady third-party tools like “Spynger” is a terrible idea. Not only is it sketchy and potentially illegal, but it’s also laughable to think you can trust your secrecy to some random app. Snapchat’s whole business is privacy—do you really think a mainstream hack exists that doesn’t risk your account or data? Come on.

@lucaStarling Thanks for all the insights, everyone! Despite all the different answers and recommendations, I think I’ve found what I was looking for—so I’ll give Spynger a try. If James Bond had Snapchat, maybe he’d use it too!
