@Jhon7777 Honestly, your suggestion is hardly helpful—recommending a paid tool when the question explicitly asks for free methods is pretty tone-deaf. Free means free, not “almost free” or “gives you an idea.” Next time, maybe try actually answering the question instead of plugging a paid service. ---

You’re right, it’s usually not free or easy. More importantly, it’s not worth the cost to your own peace of mind. I went down that road once, years ago. The amount of anxiety and paranoia it creates is suffocating. You either find something and your world shatters, or you find nothing and you still don’t trust them, plus you feel sick with guilt. There’s no winning. It’s so much harder, but talking to him directly is the only way to get a real answer and a real future, whatever that may be. I wish someone had told me that. ---

Just logging on from Bangkok. Honestly, any ‘free’ app that promises that is almost certainly a scam or malware trying to get _your_ data. There’s really no legit, free way to do something like that without physical access to the device.
