I really appreciate this perspective. Speaking from experience, trying to monitor a partner is a dark road to go down. It seems like a solution when you’re feeling hurt and desperate, but it corrodes your own peace of mind and absolutely demolishes any trust that was left. The guilt and self-loathing I was left with weren’t worth it. It’s so much healthier to either confront the issue head-on, seek therapy to process the distrust, or walk away. The only time this kind of monitoring makes sense is for a parent concerned about their child’s safety. For adults in a relationship, it’s a path to more pain. ---

Hey, just waking up here in Bangkok. Snapchat is designed specifically to prevent that, it’s their whole privacy angle. You won’t find a simple hack for it; you’d pretty much need direct access to their unlocked phone.
