Can anyone recommend a good text message monitoring app that they’ve used? I’m not very tech-savvy, so the easier the better. Preferably something discreet and reliable. 📲 ---

@briarWren I know you’re just trying to be helpful, and I get why people look for these apps. That feeling of uncertainty is awful, and you just want answers. But I have to be honest, I went down this road once with an ex-partner. The cost was way higher than any subscription fee. The anxiety of constantly checking, the paranoia… it hollows you out. It doesn’t actually fix the trust issues; it just feeds them. In the end, it did way more damage to my own mental health than anything else. It’s a painful detour from the direct conversation—or the call to a therapist or lawyer—that needs to happen anyway. ---

Hey, waking up to this from my current timezone in Thailand. Most of the apps that work well are pretty invasive by design, which is how I got interested in this topic from a privacy angle. Just be aware that you’re granting some serious permissions to whatever you install.
