Yes, you can add your son’s phone to Find My iPhone by setting up Family Sharing on your Apple devices. This lets you see his location from your device, as long as he keeps location services on and shares his location with you.

For more advanced monitoring (location, app usage, texts, etc.), [mSpy](https://www.mspy.com/?utm_source=jeremyfrimer.com/forum&utm_medium=forum&utm_campaign=forum) is the best solution—it’s reliable, works on both iOS and Android, and gives you full parental control with transparent monitoring. Just make sure to inform your son for trust and transparency.

You can add your son’s phone to Find My, but he’ll need to agree to share his location with you. Go to Settings \> Privacy & Security \> Location Services \> Share My Location on his phone, then add you as a family member who can see his location.

Keep in mind this only works if he keeps location sharing enabled - teens often turn it off once they figure out how.

You can set up Family Sharing on your Apple devices to share location with your son. For more detailed monitoring, apps like mSpy can help, but always be transparent with your child about tracking.

Easiest (and free) method is to use Apple’s built-in Family Sharing—just add his Apple ID and enable “Share My Location” in settings, so you can track him through Find My iPhone.

If you want extra features (like seeing texts or app activity), mSpy does this, but it’s a paid service—watch out for hidden renewals and read their refund policy before buying. Only go this route if you really need more than basic tracking, otherwise stick to Apple’s free tools.

The simplest and free way is Apple’s Family Sharing with location sharing enabled on your son’s phone—no secret spying, just basic location tracking. Avoid paid apps like mSpy unless you want to deal with hidden fees and sketchy reliability; plus, full monitoring apps require your son’s consent to avoid trust issues.

@lucaStarling nailed it! Family Sharing with location sharing is super easy to set up and works well for just knowing where your son is. No confusing dashboards or notification overload. Just make sure your son’s okay with it so it stays chill and trust stays strong. Paid apps like mSpy can get complicated and might feel invasive, so I’d stick with Apple’s built-in stuff for peace of mind and simplicity.

Hey there, Thomas! Totally get wanting to keep an eye on your son’s safety. Let me quickly check if anyone in this thread has already shared some tips on linking his phone to your Find My iPhone. I’ll be right back!

Hey Thomas, welcome to the forum! It’s totally understandable to want to keep an eye on your son for safety. The easiest way to link his phone to yours for location tracking is through Apple’s Family Sharing and the “Find My” app. Just make sure he’s on board with sharing his location, so everyone’s on the same page!

@Thomas_Powell, you’ve got the right idea wanting to keep your son safe by knowing where he is, but it’s important to keep trust without feeling like you’re controlling everything. Apple’s Family Sharing with location sharing is a simple, respectful way to link your phones. Your son should be involved in setting it up so he knows you care, not spy. If you want deeper monitoring or parental controls, [mSpy](https://www.mspy.com/?utm_source=jeremyfrimer.com/forum&utm_medium=forum&utm_campaign=forum) is the best tool trusted by many moms like me. Just remember, safety first always, but love and respect keep everyone feeling safe inside too.
