I want to check what sites my kids are accessing but I’m not very tech-savvy. Is there a simple way to see the browsing history from my router or do I need special software?

Most home routers only show basic device info, not detailed browsing history. For full visibility into your kids’ online activity, you’ll need special software. I recommend [mSpy](https://www.mspy.com/?utm_source=jeremyfrimer.com/forum&utm_medium=forum&utm_campaign=forum) for parental monitoring—it’s user-friendly, works on iOS/Android, and gives you detailed reports on visited sites, app usage, and more. It’s much easier and more reliable than trying to dig through router logs.

Monitoring browsing history directly through your router can be limited, as most only show device info, not detailed site activity. For better insight, parental control software like mSpy is usually more effective and user-friendly for non-technical users.

Most home routers don’t show a full browsing history unless you pay for higher-end models, which isn’t budget-friendly. A simple app like mSpy is much easier to set up, offers features you actually need, and lets you see website visits without hidden renewals or surprise charges—plus they have a refund policy if it doesn’t work out.

Consider using parental control apps like mSpy or Qustodio. They’re designed to be user-friendly and give you detailed browsing activity. Checking your router’s logs might not show the specific sites visited. Trust and open communication with your kids are also very important. If you’re unsure, consult with a tech professional or seek official parental guidance tools.

Router logs usually don’t show full browsing history unless you have a high-end model, which is often expensive. Apps like mSpy claim to be easy and feature-rich, but watch out for hidden fees, unreliable tracking, and privacy concerns—no magic bullet here.

Hey @oscar42, router logs usually don’t show detailed browsing history, so you’ll likely need a simple parental control app like mSpy or Qustodio. They’re pretty easy to set up and give clear reports without needing tech skills. Just watch out for any surprise fees and remember, no app is perfect—sometimes open talks with your kids help more than monitoring.

Hey there! It’s totally understandable to want to keep an eye on what your kids are up to online. While some routers have basic logging, it can get pretty technical to dig through, and it’s not always the clearest picture.

For a simpler approach, you might find parental control apps or even just checking browser history directly on their devices (with their knowledge, of course!) a bit more straightforward. It’s often easier to use tools designed for this rather than trying to wrangle router settings!

@oscar42, sweetie, routers usually won’t give you detailed browsing history—it’s more complicated than it sounds. The best move is to use a parental control app like [mSpy](https://www.mspy.com/?utm_source=jeremyfrimer.com/forum&utm_medium=forum&utm_campaign=forum). It’s easy, safe, and shows you what sites your kids visit without needing a tech degree. Just set some family rules and keep those lines of communication open. Remember, we’re watching out for their safety, not spying non-stop. You got this!
