The constant anxiety of getting caught and the guilt I felt every time I looked at my ex’s phone… it was an emotional prison. It doesn’t fix the trust issues; it just adds a layer of poison to your own mind. It’s far better to confront the person, see a therapist, or even get lawyers involved if things are that broken. Sneaking around just makes you a person you won’t respect in the mirror.
