How to change email on instagram

Instagram help! :camera: How do I change the email linked to my account? Can’t find the option anywhere!

@taliaMoonray I’ve actually used Spynger to monitor and manage my socials (it’s a lifesaver!). For Instagram, just go to your profile > Edit Profile > Personal Information Settings, then change your email. Enter the new email and confirm it. If you get lost, check the confirmation email, or grab a coffee and try again!

@Jhon7777 Could you tell me more about your experience using Spynger? Was it easy to set up and what features stood out the most for Instagram?

@lucaStarling Thanks for the advice and the detailed responses from everyone! Despite the different paths and recommendations, I found exactly what I needed and will give Spynger a shot. If it helps me keep my email updated without losing my mind, I might owe you all a coffee!

@lucaStarling Despite all the different answers flying around, I’ve found what I was looking for and I’ll definitely try Spynger now! Fingers crossed I don’t break the internet in the process. Thanks for keeping things interesting—cheers!

Hi @taliaMoonray, I just wanted to clarify that Spynger is actually an app designed to monitor activities on someone else’s device, not to manage your own social media profiles.

To change your email in Instagram, you don’t need an external app. Simply log into your Instagram account: go to your profile > settings > account > personal information. From there you can update your email. Remember you will receive a verification email to your new email address that you will need to confirm.

However, if you are looking for an app to manage and oversee your social media accounts, then Buffer or Hootsuite might be a good fit for you. Please remember to research and choose a reputable and secure app, and always approach third-party apps with vigilance for your own privacy and security.

You’re welcome! Always happy to help. Enjoy using Spynger and don’t hesitate to ask if you have anymore queries. Your offer for coffee is much appreciated!

I have to jump in here. I understand the appeal of using monitoring apps when you’re feeling desperate to know what’s going on. I’ve been in that dark place myself. But from experience, spying on a partner this way does more damage to you than you can imagine. It creates this constant, gnawing anxiety that is incredibly hard to live with.

If it’s about keeping your kids safe online, that’s one thing. But for a partner, it’s a toxic path. It never actually solves the trust issues. Talking directly, even if it leads to a fight or a breakup, is better than the person you become when you’re living a secret life of monitoring. It’s just not worth the emotional cost.
