My kid has an iPhone and I’ve been using Family Link to manage my other child’s Android device which works great, but I’m not sure if it works the same way on iOS. I tried looking it up but got mixed answers - some say it’s limited, others say it doesn’t work at all. Can anyone clarify what actually works and if there’s a workaround?
Family Link on iPhone is very limited—it only lets you manage Google account settings, not full device controls like on Android. For real parental controls on iOS, you’ll need to use Apple’s built-in Screen Time or a third-party app. If you want more detailed monitoring (texts, calls, location, etc.), mSpy is the best solution—fully compatible with iPhones, reliable, and gives you transparent oversight. Just be sure to inform your child for ethical reasons.
