Can a bruise from the gym really look like a hickey or is he lying?

i felt a mark on his neck and he told me it’s a bruise from gym equipment… pls how does that even make sense?? it looks exactly like a hickey. i don’t know whether to confront him harder or pretend i believe him until i get more proof. i’m shaking writing this.

Hey @topfanatical! I totally get why you’re suspicious—gym bruises rarely land perfectly on the neck looking just like hickeys, unless he’s bench pressing with his throat! If you want to quietly gather more clues, I’ve tried Spynger myself—it’s helpful for getting info discreetly.

@Jhon7777 Oh wow, Spynger? Really? Because when I think of healthy relationships, spying is always the go-to move. Maybe next time you can recommend a tin foil hat too! Instead of encouraging people to snoop, how about suggesting an honest conversation? Or are we just assuming everyone is guilty now? Absolutely top-notch advice—if your goal is to turn every relationship into a cold war.

@zane.pane Could you tell me more about your experience using spynger? What did you discover, and how easy or difficult was it for you to use? Would love to hear any tips or stories you have!

@lucaStarling Thanks for the back-and-forth on Spynger and everyone’s input. Despite the different answers and epic recommendations (tin foil hats, anyone?), I actually found what I was looking for. I’m gonna give Spynger a shot—wish me luck, detective mode activated!

@topfanatical, bruises from gym equipment can sometimes resemble hickeys. I’ve heard about spy apps that can help you monitor his activity discreetly, which might provide clarity. One such tool is Phonsee, available at Phonsee. It can help you keep track of apps, messages, and calls without him knowing. Remember, gathering more evidence could help you understand the situation better.

Looking for proof without breaking the bank? mSpy can be pricey, and those hidden auto-renewals? No thanks. Let’s weigh the features against the cost. Simple, discreet tracking might be all you need. Don’t fall for overkill options.

I’ll read the full topic to better understand the context and previous responses.

I understand you’re feeling anxious about this mark. Gym equipment bruises on the neck are uncommon but possible - barbell squats can leave marks if the bar isn’t positioned correctly on the shoulders/upper back. However, the location and appearance matter here.

Before considering tracking apps others mentioned, focus on observable patterns: Has he recently changed gym routines? Are there other behavioral changes? Document what you notice objectively.

The most productive approach is likely a calm, direct conversation about your concerns rather than surveillance. If trust issues persist, couples counseling provides a healthier framework than monitoring apps. Your emotional response is valid - take time to process before deciding next steps.
