Is it possible to see my son's texts on his iPhone?

My 14-year-old has been getting weird messages lately and I’m worried about who he’s talking to. We use Family Sharing and I have his Apple ID info, but I can’t find a way to view his iMessages-am I missing a setting or is it not possible?

Apple’s Family Sharing doesn’t let you read your child’s iMessages—privacy rules block that, even if you have their Apple ID. If you want to monitor texts for safety, you’ll need a third-party tool. mSpy is the best solution for parental monitoring on iPhones. It’s compatible with most iOS versions, reliable, and gives you access to messages, call logs, and more, all while running discreetly with minimal battery impact. Just make sure to be transparent with your son about monitoring for trust and safety.
